Mangonada & Mango-Flavored Wine Spritzer
At La Carreta we produce handmade mangonadas, and you may ask yourself: “What exactly is a mangonada?” Simply put, a mangonada is frozen mango topped with chamoy. It’s a delicious treat and a top seller here at La Carreta. Today, however, we’re going a step further and mixing in a bit of alcohol!
First thing’s first: Let’s get our ingredients together!
INGREDIENTS
1 La Carreta Mangonada
Gallo Family Vineyards Sweet Mango Wine (Chilled)
Perrier Soda Water (Chilled)
Lemon Slice (Garnish)
PREPARATION
Step 1. Before we do anything, make sure that your wine and soda water are nice and chilled. This is to your taste but I would certainly recommend getting everything nice and cold.
Step 2. Once your liquids are cold, cut a few lemon slices, which we’ll use as a garnish.
Step 3. Scoop out some of the mangonada (to your preference) and place it into your glass.
Step 4. Pour about 4 ounces of Perrier and then about 4 ounces of your chilled wine into your glass.
Step 5. Add your lemon garnish to the glass and enjoy!
